The Society for Legal Studies

We will be providing advanced training for interested parties regarding Mock Trial skillsets on a first come first serve basis.  This will include basic training on Witness, and Attorney specific skillsets as well as general information.  This is for advanced students interested in participating in the fall invitationals and the spring tournaments.  Please send an email detailing your current familiarity with Mock Trial and your time availability as well as reasons why you would make an excellent candidate for inclusion in the mock trial team. Welcome back to the 2010-2011 class of KSU,

We have some awesome events planned this year and are looking forward to a great program.  Several suborganizations seem to be off to a great start including The Mock Trial Team and it’s feeder class Trial Evidence and Procedure.  Please make sure to attend the first meeting of our organization this year on August the 29th at 1:00pm in the Social Science Building.  Follow the Signs in the lobby.  We look forward to seeing you there.

It is my pleasure to introduce you to the newest and soon to be most active club on campus.  The Political Science department has for the longest time been remiss in providing information to Law School bound students.  This ends today.  The Society for Legal Studies is bringing sexy back with a fresh coat of paint and some dusted off Chuck Taylors.  Please check back with us throughout the summer as we begin to ramp up for our fall season.  We will have multiple events and speaking engagements as well as innovative experiences to offer even the most distinguishing palette.  Do I have your attention? Good.  A new year brings new things.    :)
